Marc Radville, Rudi Cohen and Nico Keifenheim join buisness end
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 31 January, 2011 : - - As part of its strategic repositioning, Oxbow has recruited three new managers for its international team. Luca Canali was hired last June as Brand Manager in Italy and now Marc Radville has joined as UK Brand Manager, Rudi Cohen as the new Iberian Peninsula Brand Manager and Nico Keifenheim as Germany and Austria Area Business Manager.
Familiar with the brand since his childhood - his mother was the first to import Oxbow to England - Marc Radville, Oxbow senior sales representative, takes on the position of UK Brand Manager from now on. His long-standing attachment to the brand, combined with his knowledge of the world of boardsports and his commercial experience, will enable him to raise Oxbow’s profile in the UK.
Rudy Cohen, who gained solid experience at Salomon Snowboard and Bonfire Snowboarding, joins the Oxbow team as head of sales and marketing for the Spanish and Portuguese markets. This former professional snowboarder will bring to the brand his in-depth knowledge of the snowboard industry, and will reinforce Oxbow’s presence and reputation in Spain and Portugal.
For his part, Nico Keifenheim takes charge of the brand’s expansion in Germany and Austria. Former Sales Manager for Neil Pryde Windsurfing and JP Australia, this boardsport lover intends to reposition Oxbow based on its core values, and to regain the German market. “A demanding challenge but do-able,” he claims.
With these three new recruits, Oxbow is consolidating its international expansion and repositioning the brand at the heart of the boardsport world.
