EuroSIMA's role is also about tangible benefits that will help you to grow your business. There are many benefits that you are entitled to as a member of the European Surf Industry Manufacturers Association.


Trade shows

One of EuroSIMA's most important job is to actively evaluate and endorse board sports industry trade shows that will most effectively bring your products to market.
At these shows EuroSIMA's members will benefit from special discounts on exhibit space buying, VIP passes and many other services.
In addition, EuroSIMA makes available to its members an on-site hospitality lounge for professional meetings, copying, faxing, give phone calls, read e-mails and enjoying complimentary refreshments.


Public relations & Publicity

EuroSIMA's in-house public relations and publicity efforts include placing press releases, news on members, interviews, industry research, economic information, and EuroSIMA events in the surf media and mainstream media.


Quarterly newsletter

The quarterly members-only newsletter is EuroSIMA's prime vehicle for delivering important industry news, progress reports, business tips, profiles and updates.


Events & seminars

Our members are welcome to take part in EuroSIMA's seminars, colloquium, conferences, professional meetings and events organised by EuroSIMA, such as :

  • The annual CEO SIMA and EuroSIMA Surf Summit which brings the industry's leader together to discuss important issues and share information on the board sports markets.
  • The Waterman's Ball, the industry annual gala dinner and fund raiser with all proceeds benefiting environmental foundations
  • Quarterly meetings on different thematic relative to the industry.
  • And many other events during the year (EuroSIMA's parties, General Assembly,…).



  • Industry Research and Partnerships

    EuroSIMA's various partnerships with associations and institutions like the Chamber of Commerce of Bayonne, the FESI, the FIFAS, and the FPS, give the European Surf Industry Manufacturers Association the possibility to share its means and energy with its partners in order to optimise the actions and services they provide to its respective members.
    Communication between all these actors will enable meetings between the represented brands, the harmonisation of the industry positions on professional trade shows, and in general, the creation of synergies between their members.
    As part of its commitment to the industry, EuroSIMA is taking the lead in presenting valid data that provides market-based information needed by members.
    EuroSIMA will also put at its members disposal definitive research and information on the state of the industry.


    Environmental Activism & Support

    Through the efforts of the EuroSIMA Environmental Fund, the association raises funds for non-profit ocean and mountain environment groups on behalf of the boardsports industry.

  • ISPO - ISPO is the biggest European professional trade show dedicated to the sports market. EuroSIMA also supports and encourages the industry to exhibit at the annual February and June ISPO trade shows held in Munich, Germany.
