The Everest in 23 metersSpeaker: Charles PAGES
In November 2010 at the height of his career as a professional FMX rider, Charles Pagès crashed violently during the Bercy Supercross event. Following the accident, he was placed in a medically induced coma. At the time, his doctors predicted that he would never be able to walk again or even have a normal life and that his career was over. With true grit and spectacular determination, Charles started a long and hard journey of physical therapy that eventually not only allowed him to walk again but also to ride again and even get back to top level!
Through his presentation, he will dive back into that period of his life, which shows that with hard work and perseverance we can all overcome challenges and even the impossible. By telling his story, he wants to help each and every person overcome failure and develop the strength to face realities that sometimes paralyse us. By doing so, we can eventually reach our goals by tapping into our hidden interior strength to rebuild a life, whether personal or professional.
