Self-service rental and sale of outdoor sports equipment (surfing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, etc.) through the development of connected lockers. We want to transform the experience of renting and selling sports equipment, starting with the surfing market. This market is booming, and surfers face similar issues to most outdoor sports:
- Complicated transportation of equipment
- Availability and proximity of equipment depending on seasonality and opening hours of rental stores
- Specificity in the choice of the material (test drive model: test before purchase)
- The customer reserves his equipment and is billed from his cell phone
- He gets his board back on the day using his QR code, in the partner store or workshop
- He has the possibility during his session to buy the board directly from his mobile, without going back to the store
We are currently working on a prototype of a connected point of sale, to offer a service available as soon as next year, as close as possible to the activity areas.
