Dùn x The Coral Planters: A limited edition to save the corals

We're thrilled to unveil today the fruit of a unique collaboration between two emblematic players in South-West France: Dùn, a brand based in Hossegor, and The Coral Planters, an association based in Anglet. This limited edition of just 40 pieces - 20 t-shirts and 20 sweatshirts - is a mixed wardrobe designed for men and women. This artistic collaboration was born of a profound sharing of values and approaches between The Coral Planters, specialized in coral reef restoration, and Dùn, committed to sustainability and eco-responsibility. Each piece in this unique collection celebrates the vibrant structures and colors of coral reefs, with designs imagined by Native Studio, an independent design studio also based in Hossegor.

By purchasing this collection, you are contributing directly to the preservation of marine ecosystems. A portion of sales will finance coral planting projects, enabling the replanting of corals in degraded areas. For every product purchased, one coral will be planted, with a total commitment to plant 60 coral fragments once stocks run out. Consumers will be able to follow the initiative through photographic updates every six months, observing the concrete impact of their support.

Dùn is dedicated to creating sustainable clothing using recycled and environmentally-friendly materials . All collections are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, guaranteeing high standards in terms of ethical and ecological production. This cotton is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers , and water consumption is reduced by 98% compared to conventional cotton. No chemicals are used, and the dyes used have a low environmental impact. The garments are meticulously made in Portugal, where every stage of production, from spinning to finishing, is controlled to ensure quality and durability. Dùn also uses resource-efficient manufacturing techniques and favors recyclable and compostable packaging, contributing to a minimal carbon footprint.
