PYRÉNÉANCE, THE PYRENEAN INCOMING AGENCY, CELEBRATES ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY!
Created in 1994, Pyrénéance celebrates its 30th anniversary in June, with a host of surprises in store.
A legacy to carry on.
Originally focused on social tourism, the agency's DNA remains true to its heritage, and it continues to offer stays for schoolchildren, local authorities (social centers) and associations. However, there has been an evolution in terms of content: "The educational aspect must be even more present in the construction of our trips, and we are adapting our trips to offer even more to young people", stresses Jean-Baptiste Coffin, the manager. For example, during a snow class, half a day was added to the "ski" schedule of a vocational high school in the Occitanie region, for observation of a ski-lift company and another for a visit to a hydroelectric power station.
Businesses at the heart of the new development strategy.
Since its takeover and a new strategy driven by its director and shareholders, Pyreneance has paid particular attention to business customers. From one-day seminars to longer stays in the Pyrenees, the agency supports the values that executives and managers want to pass on to their teams. Co-constructed with the manager, and beyond the team-building that is almost self-evident during a shared moment in the mountains or at sea, it is truly in the content of each moment and the impregnation of strong concepts that their productions stand out. Genuine outdoor consulting from the agency's team of specialized consultants!
Made-to-measure and top-of-the-range to stand out from the crowd.
For individual customers, Pyreneance builds customized stays for domestic and international customers who pay particular attention to advice and service.
"Whether you're a couple or a family, on vacation or for a special event, our customers have a real need for assistance throughout their stay, in addition to the classic construction of their stay: it's practically like a concierge service," agrees Apolline, stays product manager. On the subject of moving upmarket, the revival of the hotel offer and the recent renovation of many mountain refuges have opened up this new market to many of the chain's spots.
A birthday to celebrate the past and the future
In October 2019, Jean-Baptiste Coffin senses that a "new" market is opening up in the Pyrenees, driven by a need to be closer to nature, more concerned with offering quality services. This strong trend of outdoor adoration, this experiential need, is little or not met by existing offerings.
