The EuroSIMA team is delighted to announce the next edition of the Surf Summit, to be held on September 26 and 27, 2024 in Seignosse, at the Belambra Clubs Estagnots de Seignosse. The 2023 edition was a great success, with over 400 participants, and we hope to continue surprising you this year with a program to match!

Our goal: to meet the challenges facing our industry

Like many sectors in Europe, our market is facing a delicate context, but it continues to grow steadily, on a basis slightly higher than 2023, and is still very attractive, as demonstrated by the massive exploitation of the Action Sports image by players outside our industry. To ensure our long-term survival, we need to return to our roots, enhance our identity and stimulate our creativity. At the same time, professional benevolence, personal development, passion and innovation seem to us to be essential aspects in mobilizing our teams. It's time to make a difference and reaffirm our unique identity and board culture.

To identify the content that will meet these challenges, we have defined six major themes: surpassing oneself, digital transformation, the power of people, analysis of our industry's economic context, creativity and, of course, CSR.

 

 

The provisional program of our EuroSIMA Surf Summit 2024

Based on these 6 themes, we propose a rich and comprehensive program, combining conferences, testimonials, discussions and round tables led by experts in their field. Among these themes, the theme of surpassing oneself, including sporting achievement, will be addressed through inspiring stories and success stories highlighting the passion, influence and culture specific to our sports. In parallel, our usual economic overview will offer a detailed panorama of the European Action Sports market, including essential data for understanding the post-COVID context and the impact of inflation (specialized trade, distribution and e-commerce). These strategic analyses are designed to provide our industry with concrete solutions for adapting to an ever-changing economic environment.

The program will also explore digital transformation, focusing on the importance of data, AI and blockchain to innovate and develop business models adapted to today's challenges. In terms of responsibility, discussions will aim to consolidate CSR actions and strategies (regulation & foresight), aligning efforts with regulatory frameworks to maximize our sustainable impact. Finally, the focus will be on creativity, placing design thinking, marketing and storytelling at the heart of our approach. Sessions will also address the power of people, valuing inclusive and positive management, focused on employment, parity, inclusion and skills development to cultivate a solid and committed team dynamic.

Surf Summit 2024 isn't just about conferences and workshops. We are delighted to announce a beautiful artistic collaboration with Lennart Menkhausa German illustrator and artist whose vibrant works perfectly embody our cultural and artistic universe. For each edition, we try to establish great collaborations, and this year we are once again keen to promote our board culture, which is so strong and differentiating. Lennart will be present at the EuroSIMA Surf Summit on September 26 & 27 to present some of his board culture-inspired works.
