#EUROSIMAFAMILY: THE SIC MAUI TEAM CONFIRMS ITS PLACE AT THE TOP OF SUP RACING ON THE FRENCH AND WORLD STAGES
A SEASON THAT CONFIRMS SIC MAUI'S CENTRAL ROLE IN THE BOOM OF FRENCH SUP
Between national excellence and international performance, SIC Maui has established itself as one of the major forces in French SUP racing. After an impressive quadruple top-six finish at the 2025 French SUP Race Championships, held from October 18 to 22 in La Tranche-sur-Mer (Vendée), the brand confirmed its influence a few weeks later at the 2025 ISA Stand Up Paddle and Paddleboard World Championships, held from November 10 to 15 in Surf City (Salvador).
SUP RACING: A TOTALLY DEMANDING SPORT
A comprehensive discipline combining power, technique, and strategy, SUP racing comes in two main formats:
- Long distance: an endurance effort where pace management, reading the water, drafting strategies, and the ability to maintain a high speed are essential.
- The technical race: a short, intense event, alternating between passages in the shore break, tight turns around buoys, explosive restarts, and surfed sections.
The 2025 French Championships highlighted the demands of these formats and showcased the ability of SIC Maui athletes to perform in a variety of conditions.

THE SIC MAUI TEAM SHINES ON THE FRENCH PODIUM 2025

A performance that confirms his status as a key athlete on the international SUP scene.
At his side, Ludovic Teulade brings his experience and racing expertise to bear with:

Pierre-Alain De Bois also had a solid season:

Finally, Clovis Le Roux, sixth overall in the long distance and fourth in his category, confirms the depth of the team.
With four athletes in the top six French finishers, SIC Maui confirms its demanding preparation and equipment capable of responding to all racing conditions.
FROM NATIONAL TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS: SIC MAUI ATHLETES SHINE IN SUP RACING
On the strength of their national results, several SIC Maui athletes were selected to represent France at the 2025 ISA World Championships in Surf City (Salvador), a major event bringing together 40 nations, demanding technical formats, and a particularly challenging shore break. Once there, the French riders equipped by SIC Maui confirmed their ability to compete with the world's elite: Ethan Bry took a superb 6th place in the men's technical race, Mélanie Lafenêtre took 5th place and Anaïs Guyomarc'h took 6th place in the women's technical race. These performances add to the successes of the French team, including the junior world championship title for Eliott Bry, several medals in prone paddleboarding, and high-level finals in SUP, demonstrating the solid momentum and rise of French SUP on the international scene.

SIC MAUI: A PILLAR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUP RACING
These results demonstrate the importance of SIC Maui in:
- high-level structuring,
- supporting athletes,
- the provision of reliable, high-performance, and accurate equipment,
- the growth of French SUP, both in competition and in the overall development of the sport.
An active member of EuroSIMA, SIC Maui perfectly illustrates the excellence of the French board sports industry.
