#EUROSIMAFAMILY: SPORTISSIMO IS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING A MORE INCLUSIVE YOUTH SPORTS CULTURE
Through the REPIT project, Sportissimo is working to offer 44 young Ukrainian judokas a chance to relax, play sports, and find hope during a solidarity trip to Haute-Savoie
The Sportissimo Endowment Fund continues its commitment to youth sports by developing initiatives with a strong social impact, combining support for young talent with international solidarity.
For the past three years, Sportissimo has been working to foster the emergence of a more inclusive elite in sports by supporting young athletes with potential, who are often held back by social or economic inequalities on their path to the highest levels of competition.
The REPIT Project: Giving Young Ukrainian Athletes a Break
Among the initiatives currently being carried out by Sportissimo, the REPIT project fully embodies this commitment to solidarity.
This program will bring 44 young Ukrainian judokas, aged 12 to 14, accompanied by their coaches, to Haute-Savoie for a ten-day stay focused on sports, culture, recreation, and sharing.
Designed as a respite from the difficult daily reality imposed by the war, this trip aims to offer these young athletes a genuine opportunity to breathe, rebuild, and look to the future with optimism.
As the Sportissimo team notes:
“Beyond the gift itself, it’s about giving people the right to dream, even in times of war.”
A call to businesses and sponsors
To make this project a reality, Sportissimo is currently seeking sponsors and partners interested in supporting the initiative.
Companies can contribute through financial support or in-kind donations (sports equipment, apparel, bags, supplies, etc.).
This is a wonderful opportunity for stakeholders in the sports sector and Action Sports to support a meaningful initiative that aligns with the values of solidarity, mentorship, and inclusion.
