WHAT IS THE CEC OCEAN TRAIL?
The principle behind CEC is to help leaders make their businesses more resilient and sustainable in the face of major natural disruptions: climate, biodiversity, ecosystems, pollution, etc.
Like all CEC programs, the goal of the Ocean – Water from Land to Sea – is to help leaders define a new strategic vision for 2030 and their roadmap for regeneration, at the heart of the greatest challenge ahead: understanding and anticipating environmental changes (natural, regulatory, behavioral, etc.) so as not to suffer them, but to prepare for them and find opportunities in them.
The originality of the course lies in the fact that, while all planetary boundaries will be taken into account, they will be viewed through the prism of the ocean as a primary resource for many of them, a receptacle for our waste, and a major regulator of the water cycle on which we all depend. Without a healthy ocean, all our efforts to protect the climate and biodiversity will prove futile.
We know that all the disruptions affecting them will have consequences, some predictable and others unpredictable, on businesses and organizations.
The textile industry, already struggling due to competition from countries with lower social and environmental standards, is also far from being spared by regulations.
To help leaders anticipate and prepare for upcoming transformations, we organize these programs to develop their vision and improve their ability to manage their companies. These are proactive programs, as they are geared toward "operational action" thanks to a qualitative method that promotes a framework of trust among peers: in circles of trust and confidentiality, executives can find support, exchange perspectives, and come up with solutions and ideas for cooperation that are sometimes innovative!
