WORKSHOP CIRCULAR ECONOMY & CSR: How to make the point of sale a circular space?
How to make the point of sale a circular space?
The new law on the fight against waste and the circular economy (AGEC) voted in February 2020, makes the manufacturer or distributor of sports and leisure items responsible for financing the end of life of its products. This is called extended producer responsibility (EPR).
Thus, from January1, 2022, producers, importers and distributors of sports and leisure articles on the French market will be obliged to organize the collection of their own waste to promote reuse and recycling.
It is in this context of urgency that EUROSIMA approached the innovative textile sourcing firm, Greeny Bird Dressand Circul'R , a global network of circular economy actors, to offer its members a series of 5 workshops to raise awareness and support them in the changes implied by the new AGEC law.
