The 6ᵉedition of the Forum des Métiers de la Glisse returns to Hossegor for a day dedicated to enthusiasts wishing to orient themselves or evolve in the board sports industry. Organized by France Travail Saint Vincent de Tyrosse and EuroSIMA, in partnership with the Ville d'Hossegor, Communauté de Communes MACS and WAVE RADIO, this not-to-be-missed event provides an opportunity to discover the many career opportunities offered by the Action Sports industry.

1:30 p.m. | Round-table: Diving into the heart of the board sports professions

Hosted by Élise Laven of Wave Radiopartner of the Forum, this round-table discussion will highlight the different career paths and key skills required to succeed in the industry. Speakers include :

With over 10 years' experience, he works to combine commercial performance with the authenticity of one of the Boardriders group's iconic brands.
  • Marie Aurélie Cazaux - Head of Merch & Design, Liberated Brands (Volcom)
    As Head of Merchandising and Design at Volcom-Liberated Brands, Marie Aurélie Cazaux oversees the design of collections and ensures their consistency with the brand's DNA. Her role is to anticipate trends and propose ranges adapted to consumer expectations, while respecting product identity and performance.
  • Pierre Frechou - Outdoor Filmmaker, Director and Drone Pilot
    A filmmaker and director specializing in outdoor and board sports, Pierre Frechou captures immersive images on land, in water and in the air, thanks to his expertise in drone and water photography. He works on documentary and adventure projects in France and around the world.
  • Fanny Duhamel - ESG Coordinator, Rip Curl Europe
    A specialist in environmental and social issues, Fanny Duhamel coordinates Rip Curl Europe's CSR initiatives, working on waste reduction, eco-design and recycling programs. Her role is to integrate these issues into the company's global strategy and support its sustainable transition.
  • Élise Laven - Host and Editor-in-Chief, Wave Radio
    Journalist and radio host Élise Laven is the voice of Wave Radio, the essential local station dedicated to surf culture and board sports. Editor-in-chief and host for over 15 years, she puts the spotlight on industry players and covers major events in the sector.
