The Art Director is the person who supervises the graphic conception of a project from A to Z. With creative excellence, he/she develops the visual identity of the brand. With the help of his/her team, he/she develops a detailed graphic chart, which will allow the target (customer) to recognize the brand at first glance. The creative department must be able to summarize the brand's commercial strategy in a simple, strong and concise idea and then translate it into artistic data. Responsibilities are divided in three axes: - Conception: searching for the best possible tools to communicate the chosen message to the target audience. - Negotiation: finding the best arguments to finance the campaign - Technique follow up: piloting the executive team and sub contractors

Access

Training in design and art schools are the most appropriate for this type of position. However, direct access to such a position is highly unlikely. It is only through internships and significant internal work that possibilities of becoming Art Director can arise.
