Benoit BERGER

Passionate about typography and artisanal printing, Benoit Berger is the founder and creative director of Bureau Berger, an independent studio at the crossroads of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship. His approach aims to design visual identities and printed objects that are both timeless and innovative.

In 2009, while still a student, he founded his first creative studio before becoming artistic director of the Parisian brand Tealer (2011–2013), which he helped to expand internationally. Between 2013 and 2019, represented by Costume 3 Pièces, he collaborated with major brands, from McDonald's to Dom Pérignon, Rémy Martin, and Lalique.

In 2017, he acquired two traditional printing companies, a decisive turning point that allowed him to give shape to his passion for letters and, at the same time, found his creative studio, Bureau Berger. Since then, the studio has redesigned the Chêne publishing house (Hachette) and directed the artistic creation of more than 60 coffee table books, while also working with prestigious brands such as Tiffany, Saint Laurent, and Moët & Chandon on their identities.

In 2023, Benoit Berger embarked on a major personal project: writing a reference book on the global history of skateboarding. With the help of Morgan Bouvant and Sébastien Carayol, Skateboard Culture was published in November 2024 and presented at an exhibition, where it was a huge success in France. Currently being translated into a dozen languages, the book will be released internationally in late 2025 (United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain).

His work has been recognized with numerous international awards (ADC, TDC, D&AD, etc.), and Bureau Berger is now considered a benchmark in the world of visual identity and high-end publishing.
