PRODUCT DEVELOPER TRAINEE

Job description

Soöruz is a fast-growing textile brand specializing in neoprene and surfwear products. Since 1999, Soöruz has been committed to creating and developing innovative, high-performance, quality products that enable people to live their passion to the full.
Specializing in Surf, Wakeboard, Kitesurf, Wing and Windsurf, the brand has grown to be present in over 20 countries. Our head office is located in La Rochelle, Charente Maritime (France).

Missions :
Within our "production" department, you will be in charge of product development based on two axes:

• TECHNICAL PRODUCTS :
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Customer feedback monitoring
  • Product innovation, creation of new products
  • Continuous improvement of products and packaging
  • Production of technical data sheets, specifically for technical products
  • Help with internal briefing on product changes

• PRODUCT CERTIFICATION/QUALITY :
  • Monitoring of standards relating to products developed
  • Listing of legislative requirements prior to product development
  • Monitoring compliance with legislative obligations during development
  • Help in managing external laboratories
  • Collaborative work with internal production and logistics teams to guarantee the quantity and quality of products to be tested.
  • Quality control of prototypes and productions

• Organize and plan activities independently
• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to make proposals
• Demonstrate responsiveness and efficiency in unforeseen or stressful situations
• Carry out tasks following rules and procedures with rigor and accuracy, until they are
  completion.
• Contribute to joint production using collaborative work tools
• Give an oral and/or written account of your work
