Maurice REBEIX
World traveler, mountaineer, famous photographer

A great traveler, mountaineer, and recognized photographer, Maurice Rebeix has also spent 25 years on and off Lakota-Sioux reservations in Dakota, North America. Influenced by his adopted culture, he shares his experience with others in seminars where he discusses the philosophy and moral values of this tradition.

Globe-trotter, mountaineer and climbing companion of Patrick Edlinger, marathon runner, friend of many surf legends, Maurice Rebeix is a photographer particularly acknowledged for his cultural approach to Hawaiian surf­ing. But, for the last 25 years, he has also extensively visited Lakota Sioux reservations of North America. In 1999, although being a non-Indian, he is given permission to participate in the Sun Dance on the Rosebud reserva­tion of South Dakota. Since then, each summer, he faithfully takes part in this four-day annual ritual which celebrates life and requires both a personal commit­ment and a physical sacrifice. Influenced by this adopted culture and its teachings, today Maurice shares his experience with others through seminars and conferences where he shares the philosophy and moral values of a traditional culture and spirituality in which every living being is part of one big family : the Family of Life !

Lisa ANDERSEN
4x World Champion

Lisa Andersen is an icon for all those who surf. The 4x World Champion between 1994 and 1997, is the first woman to grace the cover of Surfer Magazine. She is revered as an inspiration and a pioneer who paved the way for today’s generation of professional surfers.

Lisa Andersen is a legend and inspiration for the Roxy brand. Her feminine style and athleticism laid the foundation for modern women’s surfing in the 1990s, and she still carries the torch as a global ambassador. She won four world championship titles between 1994 and 1997. In 1995, Lisa became the first woman to grace the cover of Surfer Magazine, which also named her one of the “25 Most Influential Surfers of All Time.”

Today, Lisa remains an icon for all those who surf – male or female. She is revered as an inspiration and a pioneer who paved the way for today’s generation of professional surfers.

Emilie SOUVRAS
Global Brand Manager at ROXY

Emilie Souvras is the Global Brand Manager at ROXY. Emilie began her career as a collection manager in retail and joined the Boardriders group in 2010 where she took on various positions before becoming Global Brand Manager at ROXY in 2015. Emilie has also been a EUROSIMA board member since 2016.

Emilie Souvras is the Global Brand Manager at Roxy. Originally from the North of France, Emilie began her career as a collection manager in retail. Having always been drawn to and inspired by surfing as a lifestyle, quite naturally, Emilie and her husband eventually decided to move to the Basque coast in 2010. Soon after they arrived, she joined Boardriders in the ROXY product teams.

From there she took on various positions before becoming Global Brand Manager in 2015. Based in Saint-Jean-de-Luz with the global marketing, design & product teams, Emilie frequently travels to the US as well as to Pacific Asia where ROXY is highly developed.

Emilie has also been a EUROSIMA board member since 2016.

Zoë GROSPIRON
Professionnal longboarder

Zoe Grospiron was born in the French Alps to Nathalie and French Olympic moguls champion Edgar Grospiron. Zoe was initiated to the world of surfing at the age of 12 and rapidly drifted towards longboard. As a Roxy Girl, Zoe travels the world to compete in the LQS stages and pursues her dreams of being a longboard champion.

Zoe was born in Annecy, in the French Alps to Nathalie and French Olympic moguls champion Edgar Grospiron. At the age of 12, her family moved down to the South West of France, in Anglet. There, Zoe was initiated to the world of surfing by her stepfather. A year into the sport, she drifted towards longboard: “I fell in love with longboard as soon as I tried it. I was fascinated by Kelia Moniz’s style and her take on the sport.”

Four years later, her results speak for themselves: 3rd at the 2016 French Championships, 3rd at Newquay WLT event in 2018 and 2nd at Espinho WLT event in 2019.

She is pursuing her dreams of being a longboard champion: as a ROXY Girl, Zoe will travel the world to compete in the LQS stages and meet surf lovers across the world!

Jessi MILEY-DYER
Vice President, Tours and Competition at World Surf League

A pro surfer for over 15 years, Jessi Miley-Dyer has devoted her entire career to developing surfing and athlete wellbeing. Today she is the Vice-President of Tours and Competition at the World Surf League and has recently launched Rising Tides – WSL Girls, an action program to encourage the new generation to take up surfing.

Jessi Miley-Dyer is the Vice President, Tours and Competition for the World Surf League (WSL), the global home of surfing. The WSL is dedicated to changing the world through the inspirational power of surfing by creating authentic events, experiences, and storytelling to inspire a growing, global community to live with purpose, originality, and stoke. 

In this principal role, Miley-Dyer is charged with upholding the integrity of the sport, including managing the tours schedule, rules and judging, protecting the wellbeing of the athletes, and developing new ideas to improve the sport. She also Chairs our Women’s Initiative.

Since joining as Deputy Commissioner in 2013, Miley-Dyer was integral in paving the way for WSL’s groundbreaking announcement in 2018 that it will award equal prize money to male and female athletes for every WSL-controlled event in 2019 and beyond, becoming the first and only US-based global sports league to achieve prize money equality. Miley-Dyer also introduced the new Rising Tides – WSL Girls Program, a beachside engagement program to inspire the next generation to take to the surf. 

Prior to joining the WSL, Miley-Dyer spent over 15 years as a professional surfer racking up numerous accolades including World Junior Champion, Qualification Series winner, as well as spending six years competing on the elite Championship Tour, where she won the prestigious Maui event. During her competitive career, Miley-Dyer also took on the role of the Surfers’ Representative, which allowed her the opportunity to help grow the sport as an ASP Board Member and Director and develop a better place for the athletes and fans to enjoy surfing. Additionally, Miley-Dyer served as the Women’s Championship Tour Manager from 2011 – 2013.

Miley-Dyer is based in the WSL’s Santa Monica, California office in the United States.

Fashion Expert and founder of REC trends marketing

Pascal Monfort is the founder of the consulting firm REC trends marketing. He is a genuine expert in youth culture, having spent 10 years at Nike as Director of consumer culture and 4 years as Creative Director at the magazine Equipe Sport & Style.

Pascal Monfort is the founder of REC trends marketing, which provides consulting for key players in the fashion, sports and beauty industries.

With a solid background in youth culture, having spent 10 years at Nike as Director of consumer culture and 4 years as Creative Director at Equipe Sport & Style magazine, he is widely recognized as a genuine expert in youth culture, both by the press and by his peers. In addition, for the past 20 years, he has shared his knowledge by teaching sociology and the history of fashion to university students in prestigious Parisian institutions such as HEC, Sciences Po or IFM.

Never one to sit back and relax, he also led various projects in fashion, music and even in football (Le Ballon FC). He also manages two magazines (IN CORPORE SANO in 2019, a biannual wellness magazine and Yummy in 2005, that paid tribute to junk food and design). Last but not least, he has also produced two albums with his group The Shoppings.

Adam Hall is the Head of Sustainability at Internet Fusion and Surfdome, Europe’s largest action sport retailer. He managed to guide Surfdome from having no sustainability credentials to being ranked as one of the top 14 fashion and beauty brands helping to save the oceans in a little over a year.

Adam Hall is the Head of Sustainability at Internet Fusion and Surfdome, Europe’s largest action sport retailer. He grew up in the rolling hills and gentle surf of the South West of the UK, which shaped his passion for Surfing and an appreciation of the natural world, all enhanced by a lifetime of travelling. He’s happiest being on top of salty water, below and everything in between in new far-flung places (with no marine litter!) with his young family.

He has spent almost his entire working life weaving his way through every aspect of the surfing industry from the humble beginnings of the local surfboard factory.  A journey that provided opportunities to travel the world and years living in Australia and New Zealand.

Eventually taking a break from the surf industry and founding an environmental company aiding business to become more sustainable.

Returning to the action and outdoor sports industry Adam managed to guide Europe’s largest action sports retailer from having no sustainability credentials to being ranked as one of the top 14 fashion and beauty brands helping to save the oceans in a little over a year, enabling the business to be case study for the ‘World Business Council for Sustainable Development’ and securing a quote in the ‘New Plastic Economy’ documents presented at the ‘World Economic Forum’ in Davos. Fast forward to 2018, the business having numerous owners and transitions with one staple and consistent – the unmovable sustainability and plastic reduction strategy. The group which Surfdome is now in has 12 other businesses which collectively boast 95% plastic free outbound packaging.

Internet Fusion is now working closely with the 800 brands and suppliers to assist them to reduce their plastic use.

Adam proudest achievement is arranging for Surfdome to be the founding supporter of #2MinuteBeachClean and Protect Our Winters UK, understanding the need to activate and address the desire of their customer base to make a difference. He has ensured that every incarnation of the business enables him to support the movements. Which has lead him to become and even prouder trustee of both charities!

A former professional Freestyle Motocross athlete, Charles Pagès was an elite rider for 11 years, competing in and winning many world class events. He also invented various acrobatic figures in the sport, which still today, grant him widespread recognition in the world of extreme sports as one of the most determined athletes ever.

A former professional Freestyle Motocross athlete, Charles Pagès was an elite rider for 11 years, competing in and winning many world class events. He also invented various acrobatic figures in the sport, which still today, grant him widespread recognition in the world of extreme sports as one of the most determined athletes ever.

Today, he is focused on developing a new concept of Freestyle gyms in France. Located in the South-West region, this unique concept combines alternative sports and paramedical services. The premises will be fully completed and ready just in time to welcome Olympic Athletes preparing for the 2024 Olympics but also open to anyone looking for adrenaline and fun.

Charles also regularly appears at various motorcycle or Freestyle Motocross events, both as a speaker and consultant.

Christophe Boisselier has been a sommelier for 30 years and as such has tasted thousands of bottles and travelled far and wide through vineyards across the planet. His passion for wine brought him to create this conference/show that focuses on wine, but also explores how and what influences our choices and decision-making process.

Christophe Boisselier has been a sommelier for 30 years and as such has tasted thousands of bottles and travelled far and wide through vineyards across the planet. A Chef Sommelier in a variety of Michelin star restaurants in France and abroad (Passard, Thorel, Chapel), he has contributed to the opening of 8 restaurants. He has also developed 2 apps: Frigo Magic, a mobile phone app to reduce waste and iwineresto, an interactive wine menu to use on tablets for restaurants that cannot afford to have a sommelier.

As Christophe regularly mingles with various illusion artists and actors around the world, he was inspired to create his show/conference “The Magic of Wine”, using wine as the common theme to explore various elements that influence our daily choices and decisions.

Vincent Colliard is a French polar explorer and great adventurer. He cofounded the Ice Legacy project to cross the 20 largest glaciers on earth. Through his expeditions and working closely with the scientific community, his objective is to raise awareness about the importance and vulnerability of ice.

Vincent Colliard is a French professional polar explorer and guide. Passionate and determined to explore, Vincent is a talented and versatile adventurer. He grew up in the South-West of France, enjoying both the roaring waves and the voices of the mountains. Adventure, it turns out is the constant in his life that drives him forward. It is a way of understanding how vulnerable we are and how we are all connected to nature. “I believe we all have a spirit of adventure!” he says.  Vincent, along with his expedition partner Børge Ousland, manage the Ice Legacy Project, a series of polar expedition to cross the 20 biggest glaciers on the planet over the next 10 to 15 years. Their goals are to explore these melting giants and raise awareness to spur long term and lasting activism towards protecting these virgin areas.

David RICHARD

David Richard is the Sport France Director within the NPD Group. Since he joined the group in 2001, he has developed extensive and varied experience, having worked in marketing consulting, as Manager of Retail Sport Europe and Manager of Operations Sport Europe. This has led him to develop sound knowledge and expertise in the global sports products market.

After working for a hardware and sport retailer, David Richard joined the sports department at NPD in 2001, where he took on various successive positions. He started as a marketing consultant, then became a Sport Retail Europe Manager and later a Sport Operations Europe Manager. Today he is the Sport France Director. Through the years, David has worked with a variety of clients including sports brands and retailers in France and in Europe, focusing on different markets and using NPD services, retail and consumer panels. He has therefore built solid knowledge of the sports products market.

He is responsible for relations with NPD Sport clients in France as well as several European accounts.
