Surfing Lounge 2025: The results!
A NOT-TO-BE-MISSED EVENT AT THE HEART OF THE EUROSIMA SURF SUMMIT
On September 25 and 26, 2025, during the EuroSIMA Surf Summit, which brought together more than 450 players in the action sports industry, the Surfing Lounge showcased 20 companies in its exhibition space.
Participants were able to discover more than 25 innovations and outstanding products, confirming once again that our industry knows how to combine creativity, performance, and sustainable commitment.
Among the boards on display, WYVE continues its quest for performance with its patented 4D Core© technology, a 3D-printed core with variable geometry that is three times stronger than a traditional board. For its part, Koz Surfboards is exploring the use of mycelium, a natural biodegradable material derived from mushrooms, to design eco-friendly and compostable boards in the medium term.
Also in the field of innovation, Newave, winner of the EuroSIMA Call for Innovation Projects, has won over the market with its modular, collapsible boards, ideal for traveling light without compromising on performance. Finally, T&C Surf Designs, an independent brand born in Hawaii, continues to inspire the European scene with the iconic shapes of its flagship shaper Glenn Pang, who has been accompanying the world's best riders for over 40 years.

In terms of textiles and equipment, Oxbow has unveiled its ambitious Stoked Project with two eco-designed products: the Stoked boardshorts and the Stoked jacket, made in France from upcycled fabrics. Thanks to a combination of demanding eco-design and advanced technologies, their carbon footprint is reduced by 93% for the boardshorts and 95% for the jacket compared to conventional products. Rip Curl presented three flagship projects: its 3D boardshorts awarded at ISPO, a colorful collaboration with FARM Rio, and its neoprene recycling program that transforms used wetsuits into Renoprene.
In the same vein, Billabong unveiled the Furnace Natural Upcycler Wetsuit, a wetsuit made from FSC-certified natural rubber and recycled BolderBlack®, combined with 100% recycled jersey and lining made from plastic bottles. Its AIRLITE 4D technology (+20% stretch) and graphene-infused yarns guarantee performance, warmth, and reduced impact. Meanwhile, Quiksilver and Roxy innovated with their new wetsuits featuring Primaloft® technologytechnology, combining warmth, flexibility, and recycled materials.

In terms of accessories and well-being, SOKO Ecoswimwear, a brand from Réunion, showcased its eco-friendly swimsuits made from OEKO-TEX® certified materials and designed to be returned for a second life. SUNDA Cosmétique, a young Basque brand, offered its 100% natural, plastic-free and ultra water-resistant, certified by COSMOS. CORTO, a finalist in the EuroSIMA Innovation Call for Projects, attracted curiosity with its SunLite cap, a sun protection device designed by a surfer for surfers, which folds down around the neck during duck dives.
Finally, Les Artistes Paris presented their Electrolytes rangerange, sugar-free sticks rich in essential minerals, a practical and responsible alternative to plastic bottles.

Creativity was also evident in design and culture. Félix & Associés, a Bordeaux-based B Corp agency, designed and manufactured the trophy for the EuroSIMA 2025 Innovation Call for Projects, a unique piece conceived as a symbol of sustainable innovation. Florian Auger Studio offered a participatory performance: repurposing wax into colored pencils and transforming a blank board into a collective book, where each participant's drawing became a shared imprint of the 2025 Surf Summit. Skateboard Culture, an anthology by Morgan Bouvant and Sébastien Carayol, traced 50 years of skate culture through 400 photos and 17 exclusive interviews.

Textile innovation was also in the spotlight with Zanzibar Production, finalist in the EuroSIMA Innovation Call for Projects, which presented S'Cool®, a Lycra fabric that can be adjusted to all body types thanks to a unique, durable, and customizable tightening system. AERA Board Co impressed with its virtuous ecosystem: the DUNA textile brand, the CATRISURF association for collecting used boards, and the AERA project for defibrating and recycling foam boards. Finally, Ecoshape stood out with its bio-based, 100% recyclable 3D board cores, offering a 97% reduction in carbon impact compared to conventional foam blocks. We end on an artistic note with theexhibition by CIEL GLUE, the artist who designed the poster for the EuroSIMA Surf Summit 2025.

With proposals ranging from design to textiles, equipment to cosmetics, Surfing Lounge 2025 demonstrated the richness and vitality of the Action Sports industry.
