A video producer is an audio visual technician who uses videos as a communication channel for images. Within the general term, there are two distinct specialities: the shooter/ camera man (who shoots) and the editor/ cutting team (who cuts and assembles the various parts of the film that were shot). In board sports, video producers are generally freelancers and are qualified in both cutting and shooting. Work can vary greatly as it can be film production for brands, reports or documentaries, advertising videos…etc. He/she is paid based on the level of services and therefore must constantly negotiate new contracts to make a living.
