The Environmental Manager ensures the application of all governmental rules and regulations. He/she works towards the improvement of procedures as well as on communication with employees about environmental issues. Usually linked to management departments, he/she most often has several years of experience as well as solid knowledge of the company and its industry. He/she may sometimes also have other responsibilities within the company such as management of quality and personnel health and safety.
