Dispatch team leader

Nature

The Dispatch team leader is in charge of merchandise preparation and expedition/dispatch operations. He/ She is also responsible for recruiting and training the team he/she will delegate operations to. Working primarily with the warehouse manager, he/she ensures coordination between his/ her team and management.

Mission

Transmitting directives and order preparing
Coordinating loading operations in pick up area, based on prepared order arrivals and destinations.
Relations with delivery contractors
Setting up and running loading operations.
Transferring operations at merchandise departure time to start billing procedures
Inspection and management of departures
Constant reporting to logistics manager
Management of scoreboards

Accès

Logistics training (minimum 2 years higher education) is most appropriate however significant logistical experience remains necessary.
