Export Manager

Nature

The Export Manager is responsible for commercial activities abroad. This is a key position in the board sports industry. He/she is the company contact for all foreign relations and is responsible for prospecting, developing contracts and ensuring proper delivery of products. A skilled negotiator, he/she must have excellent knowledge of international board sports markets in order to reach commercial objectives. He/she may need to solve financial, logistical or legal issues with clients. Depending on the status of the company (label, subsidiary, branch, importer…) the field of action of the Export Manager may be defined by the notion of territory. For example: the European Export Manager of a brand will only be able to export within what is considered the European territory.
