INTERNATIONAL HUB WITH EUROSIMA

EuroSIMA, as a major player in the surf and action sports industry, launches its new strategic campaign: " International Hub with EuroSIMA" . The aim of this initiative is to promote EuroSIMA as an international hub, fostering the development and expansion of European brands on the world stage. This campaign underlines our commitment to building strong partnerships and creating growth opportunities beyond Europe's borders.

SURF EXPO: A WORLD-RENOWNED TRADE SHOW

The internationally renowned Surf Expo in Orlando attracts over 700 exhibitors and more than 4,500 trade buyers every year. It offers an exceptional showcase for the latest trends and innovations, affirming its role as an essential meeting point for key players in the industry.

DEVELOPING INTERNATIONAL SYNERGIES

The aim of our trip was twofold. Firstly, to support ambitious European brands such as NAPCO (PRIDE MEDINA Softboards), SOÖRUZ, PULL IN, and PICTURE in their expansion or establishment in the United States. On the other hand, to establish a fruitful dialogue with our counterparts at SIMA (California) and the BRA (Board Retailers Association)sharing our expertise and network to, among other things, help American brands penetrate the European market: knowledge of the market in our territory, contacts with our network of retailers and distributors...

The aim of these exchanges between our leading structures in the international Surf & Action Sports sector is to promote and enhance the value of our European companies, while providing the best possible support for their economic development.

DTRATEGIC DISCUSSIONS WITHC SIMA AND BRA

During their stay, the team took part in meetings with SIMA and members of their board of directors, discussing programs, priorities and strategies for improving the visibility of international brands. The team also worked jointly with the BRA on business models for our Action Sport companies and on raising the profile of European brands on the international stage.

Jean-Louis Rodrigues, President of EuroSIMA, emphasizes:

"After the difficult period of Covid and the ongoing transitions in our sector, it was crucial to reconnect with the US market. This B2B show exceeded our expectations. Personally, I was able to reconnect with old colleagues and discuss the future of our favorite sport. A rewarding trip, and I look forward to our next trip to Huntington for SIMA Surfscape in April."

Christophe Seiller, EuroSIMA Cluster Manager, adds:

"The energy of the brands present and the optimism of the organizers were particularly stimulating. It's a strong reminder that Surf culture is alive and well in Europe, a crucial aspect to emphasize to our American partners."

2024 OUTLOOK

This participation in Surf Expo is another step towards strengthening our transatlantic relations and promoting the European surf and action sports industry. With a promising outlook, the EuroSIMA team is already gearing up for the next stop in Huntington for SIMA Surfscape in April.
