TRAINING: Spanish group 1 - A2

Programme :

  • Group training in professional Spanish according to trainee level.
  • The starting level is assessed in an interview with the teacher. Professional objectives are then defined.
  • Natural language learning. The method is based on learning a mother tongue. Understanding others and making oneself understood are the first steps in learning. Once the spoken language has been mastered, the more complex structures of the language are developed.

 

Objectives :

  • The training objective is to improve oral communication and conversation comprehension, as well as written skills.
  • Management of business situations, professional vocabulary and formal turns of phrase, in Spanish and customized to the needs of the learners, in groups formed according to the desired theme.
  • Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
  • Get by in most situations encountered when traveling in a region where the target language is spoken.
  • Produce simple, coherent text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
  • Recount an event, experience or dream, describe a hope or goal, and briefly give reasons or explanations for a project or idea.

 

Contents :

General Spanish

Grammar

  • pronunciation
  • quantitative nouns
  • adjectives (gender, number)
  • expression of the present, past and future
  • use of auxiliaries
  • formal and informal language

Oral expression

  • introduce oneself, describe, ask questions correctly in all tenses of the present, past and future
  • ready-made expressions, polite phrases
  • telephone conversation

Listening comprehension

  • understand relatively simple questions and monologues

 

Professional Spanish

Each work experience course will be tailored to the needs of the learner group. The program will therefore also be designed in relation to these needs, and the materials used and supplied will be in line with the request. Each lesson is organized around a topic to be studied, and provides the opportunity to revise vocabulary, grammar and linguistic specificities in professional terms.

 

Conversation classes

The content of conversation courses depends on the objectives and professional specificities of the learner group. A group needing to participate in or conduct meetings can work with videos and present their point of view. Another activity is role-playing, with one person leading the meeting, one agreeing and the other disagreeing. A wide variety of themes can be tackled using very different approaches. It's also an opportunity to learn about the habits and customs of countries where the target language is spoken.
