Nature
The management controller, also known as the person responsible for planning and management, exercises permanent control over the company's budgets. He/she prepares the budget forecast and implements control procedures. Finally, he/she provides assistance in all areas in order to ensure the optimal use of resources. The missions of the management controller are more or less extensive depending on the company in which he works. In small and medium-sized companies, management control is carried out at the same time as other functions such as accounting, finance, administration, personnel management or IT. In large companies, the function is more specialized.
Mission
Realization of budget forecasts and elaboration of the tools necessary for the follow-up of the results (dashboards, indicators)
Participation in the definition of the objectives of the commercial services and of the other departments / services
Analysis of the differences existing between the forecasts and the reality
Proposal of solutions to remedy the difficulties encountered

Solid accounting and financial training

The level of training required depends on the size of the company. Generalist training in management or economics supplemented by training in accounting is well suited
