Description

The Director of Finance and Operations is often a member of the Executive Committee. He or she represents the company in negotiations with government agencies, banks and institutions. As a multi-hatted person, he or she must be able to adapt to all the key sectors of the company: legal, production, accounting, personnel management, etc. His or her schedule is made up of multiple internal and external meetings where he or she delegates and organizes tasks. Because of its hierarchical position, its degree of involvement and its versatility, the job requires the manager to be constantly informed about the economic environment and to adapt permanently to the company's evolutions.
