Programmer / Analyst
Description
In constant collaboration with the project manager, the analyst-programmer plays the role of developer/implementer of the designer's (project manager's) ideas. Together, they take care of software testing and maintenance. The programmer-analyst has to make sure he understands the needs of future users of the program, all their obligations and all their constraints. It's a richly varied profession, since an analyst-programmer can be called upon to work on a wide variety of projects.
