EuroSIMA was in Paris for the Rencontres de l'Économie du Sport en France with the Union Sport & Cycle, the Ministry of Sports and JOP & the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
On March 13 in Bercy, Christophe SEILLER, EuroSIMA's Executive Director, took part in the RENCONTRES DE L'ÉCONOMIE DU SPORTthe Action Sports sector's involvement in national strategic discussions. On the agenda: the signing of the new Charte du Sport en France 2024-2026 between the Ministère des Sports et JOP & the Ministère de l'Économie et des Finances, with clear objectives of sustainability and inclusivity for the post-Olympic Games period in Paris.

Sport in France generates sales of 71 billion euros, 51 of which are generated by 3,500 companies, representing 2.6% of GDP and 450,000 jobs. This economic potential places the sector at the heart of the country's development policies. EuroSIMA, allied with the Union Sport & Cycle and supported by government ministries, continues to promote innovation and CSR issues, while contributing to the dynamism of the French sports industry, particularly Board Sports.
Discussions at the meetings reaffirmed the importance of a long-term vision for the sports industry, which is poised to transform Olympic enthusiasm into a genuine engine of growth.
