A product engineer is responsible for developing new products or improving existing products. He/she works within the R&D department, in close cooperation with the marketing department, and possesses a global view of the company. Technical skills and knowledge allows the product engineer to communicate efficiently with specialists. The position also involves a constant surveillance of technology: indeed, he/she must constantly remain informed of product evolutions developed by the competition.
