The editor-in-chief is responsible for the editorial line and publishing. He or she is both upstream (proposing topics, developing summaries, defining the tone to be used, etc.) and downstream (monitoring the work of journalists and freelancers) of the article writing process. In the board sports sector, the editor-in-chief works in specialized magazines, whether free or paid, and must also manage the editorial line of the website attached to the magazine.
