Environment / Sustainable Development Manager

Nature

The environmental manager ensures the application of regulations by liaising with public authorities. He or she works to improve procedures and raise team awareness of environmental issues. Generally reporting to the general management, he/she often has several years of experience and a good knowledge of the company and its sector of activity. He or she sometimes assumes other functions within certain companies and in particular, may be in charge of quality management and health and safety at work.

Access

There are training courses at the end of the university cycle that provide solid knowledge for the position of environmental manager. However, a long experience in the company at the production level allows to understand the system and to bring sustainable solutions.
