Description

The product manager is responsible for the development of a product or a product line, from design to marketing. Based on a market analysis and the company's objectives, proposes a definition of the product, designs commercial action plans and promotional campaigns. Follows the commercial evolution of its range, assists the sales force, coordinates the activities which contribute to the realization of the marketing plan.

The product manager is responsible for the development of a product line, from design to marketing. Based on an analysis of the market and the company's objectives, he/she proposes a definition of the product, designs commercial action plans and promotional campaigns. He/she monitors the commercial development of his/her range, assists the sales force and coordinates the activities that contribute to the implementation of the marketing plan. Depending on the size of the company, the nature of the work may vary: from the simple development of a collection for a large company, to the monitoring of purchases and production for an SME.
