Description
The job of "shaper" consists in making and repairing surfboards. It's a job that requires the combination of technology, the mastery of the perfect gesture and the gift of estimating with the eye the slightest variation of the curve of a board. It's a job of passion. The man of art must be a surfer because he is the "test pilot" of his creations. From his impressions perceived at sea will be born future boards. From his feelings in the heart of the power of the waves will be forged the idea of new achievements.

There is no specialized training in shaping. The best option is to work as an assistant / trainee alongside a shaper to learn the basics.
