A stylist is the partner a company relies on for the orientation, the development and creation of a collection. Stylists work in the long term. He/she must frequently travel abroad to attend trade fairs or exhibitions and always be aware of new fashion tendencies as well as changes and events in society, politics and culture. He/she must be able to work in marketing, commercial and technical fields. Directly in contact with the Product Manager, he/she also works very closely with Product Developers who create prototypes from elaborate technical sheets. The stylist is not only an artist though: roughly 15% of work time is pure creation the rest of the time is focused on technical and marketing tasks.
