Description
The stylist is the partner that the company associates with for the orientation, the elaboration, the creation of a collection. The stylist works in the long term. Frequently traveling abroad, to visit trade shows and exhibitions, he must stay abreast of fashion trends and take into account social phenomena and political or cultural events. He/she must be able to intervene in the marketing, commercial and technical fields. In direct contact with the product manager, he or she also works closely with the pattern maker who creates the prototypes. The stylist is not only an artist: about 15% of his working time is dedicated to pure creation, the rest being, essentially, technical work and marketing.
