The stylist is the partner that the company associates for the orientation, the elaboration, the creation of a collection. The accessory stylist is responsible for the creation of watches, glasses, luggage, jewelry etc... Travelling frequently abroad, to visit fairs and exhibitions, he/she must keep abreast of fashion trends and take into account social phenomena and political or cultural events. He/she must be able to intervene in the marketing, commercial and technical fields. In direct contact with the product manager, he/she also works closely with the pattern maker who creates the prototypes.

Hunt for new trends: travel and go to exhibitions, shows, fashion shows
Skills
Knowledge/Savoir-faire
Knowledge of the laws of production, inventory management and marketing.
Knowledge of computer-aided design software: knowledge of software such as Lectra Système, C Design, Fashion Studio or graphics software such as Illustrator or Photoshop is recommended.
Proficiency in computer-assisted design software
