Surfer's Journal: a bimonthly surf publication created in 1992 in California by Steve and Debee Pezman (1994 in France). Each edition includes a mix of history, travel, portraits, art and photography, thanks to which Surfer's Journal has established itself as the reflection of surfing culture both past and present. More book than magazine, the publication includes only cover ads, which contribute to making it a high quality magazine that aims to nurture and contribute to surfing culture. The same goes for its many faithful readers, who have become guardians of this culture. Surfer's Journal is a family editing business, based in San Clemente, California. Through his own editing company, Vent de Terre, based in Guéthary, Gibus de Soultrait manages production and distribution of the French edition of Surfer's Journal.
