The freelance photographer is first of all an artist before being a technician. His particular sensibility allows him to observe the world from an original and necessarily artistic angle which makes all the interest. Autonomous and versatile, the photographer who evolves in board sports is however very dependent on the weather conditions and the people he works with. There are several specialties in the field of board sports:
The action / sport photographer: at the heart of the practice of board sports, he must capture the movements and figures the first time. This requires a great ease in aquatic environment for the actions surfing and in mountain for the actions ski / snowboard.
The product photographer : Specialized in taking pictures of products (textile, accessories, hardware), he has to master the light in order to illustrate the products under the best angle, in the catalogs and the communication tools. Most of the time, this type of image is taken in a studio.
The fashion photographer: He works during fashion shows and realizes "photoshoots" for the fashion pages of magazines, catalogs of trends etc... He must take into account the surrounding decor as well as the play of light.
